From forms to chat: how Indian SMBs are ditching data entry
By Team Margdarshan
Every shop owner knows the pain: ten fields, five dropdowns, and a save button — just to log one order. Multiply that by every customer, invoice, and stock movement, and software starts to feel like a second job.
The new contract
AI flips the model. Instead of you adapting to the software, the software adapts to you. You type or speak one natural line — "Rahul wants a ₹15,000 catering order, follow up tomorrow" — and the record fills itself. You confirm. Done.
Why it matters for India
India runs on 63 million MSMEs, most of them busy, mobile-first, and multilingual. Hinglish chat lowers the barrier to near zero. No training, no manuals — if you can send a WhatsApp message, you can run your business.
What we built
Margdarshan puts a chat assistant inside every module — CRM, invoices, inventory, accounts — that understands plain language, shows a preview before saving, and remembers what you did yesterday. Forms are still there if you want them. Most people stop using them within a week.
