We do not collect payment information, government ID numbers, or sensitive personal data as defined under India's IT Act 2000.

3. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored in encrypted files on our secure servers located in India. We use industry-standard security practices including:

• Bcrypt password hashing (cost factor 10+)
• JSON Web Tokens (JWT) with httpOnly cookies for session management
• HTTPS/TLS encryption for all data in transit
• Restricted file system access — conversation data is scoped per user

We do not share your personal information with third parties, advertisers, or data brokers.

4. Third-Party Services

We use OpenAI's API (gpt-4o-mini) to process your messages and generate AI responses. Your messages are transmitted to OpenAI for processing under their Privacy Policy. We do not use any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account and conversation data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, all associated data is permanently deleted within 30 days.

6. Your Rights

Under applicable Indian law (IT Act 2000, PDPB 2023) and best practices, you have the right to:

• Access — request a copy of all personal data we hold about you
• Correction — update or correct inaccurate information
• Deletion — request permanent deletion of your account and all data
• Data portability — receive your conversation history in a machine-readable format
• Withdrawal of consent — stop using the service at any time

7. Cookies

We use a single httpOnly session cookie named mkt_session to keep you logged in. This cookie is essential for the service to function and does not track you across other websites. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking cookies.

Our service is intended for individuals aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal data, please contact us immediately.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify registered users via email for material changes. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
